Surah Al Baiyinah With English Translations

لَمْ یَكُنِ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ وَ الْمُشْرِكِیْنَ مُنْفَكِّیْنَ حَتّٰى تَاْتِیَهُمُ الْبَیِّنَةُ(1)

Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from their disbelief] until there came to them clear evidence - (1)

رَسُوْلٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ یَتْلُوْا صُحُفًا مُّطَهَّرَةً(2)

A messenger from Allah, reciting purified scriptures (2)

فِیْهَا كُتُبٌ قَیِّمَةٌﭤ(3)

Containing correct writings. (3)

وَ مَا تَفَرَّقَ الَّذِیْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ اِلَّا مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ الْبَیِّنَةُﭤ(4)

And those who were given the Scripture did not become divided until after clear evidence had come to them. (4)

وَ مَاۤ اُمِرُوْۤا اِلَّا لِیَعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مُخْلِصِیْنَ لَهُ الدِّیْنَ ﳔ حُنَفَآءَ وَ یُقِیْمُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَ یُؤْتُوا الزَّكٰوةَ وَ ذٰلِكَ دِیْنُ الْقَیِّمَةِﭤ(5)

And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion. (5)

اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ وَ الْمُشْرِكِیْنَ فِیْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خٰلِدِیْنَ فِیْهَاؕ-اُولٰٓىٕكَ هُمْ شَرُّ الْبَرِیَّةِﭤ(6)

Indeed, those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding therein eternally. Those are the worst of creatures. (6)

اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِۙ-اُولٰٓىٕكَ هُمْ خَیْرُ الْبَرِیَّةِﭤ(7)

Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures. (7)

جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنّٰتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِیْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِیْنَ فِیْهَاۤ اَبَدًاؕ-رَضِیَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمْ وَ رَضُوْا عَنْهُؕ-ذٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِیَ رَبَّهٗ(8)

Their reward with their Lord is gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord. (8)
