Surah Fatir With English Translations

(1) اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ فَاطِرِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ جَاعِلِ الْمَلٰٓىٕكَةِ رُسُلًا اُولِیْۤ اَجْنِحَةٍ مَّثْنٰى وَ ثُلٰثَ وَ رُبٰعَ یَزِیْدُ فِی الْخَلْقِ مَا یَشَآءُ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدِیْرٌ

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent. (1)

(2) مَا یَفْتَحِ ٱللّٰهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِنْ رَّحْمَةٍ فَلَا مُمْسِكَ لَهَا وَ مَا یُمْسِكْ فَلَا مُرْسِلَ لَهٗ مِنْۢ بَعْدِهٖ وَ هُوَ ٱلْعَزِیْزُ ٱلْحَكِیْمُ

Whatever Allah opens for people of mercy - there is no restrainer of it; and whatever He withholds - there is no sender of it thereafter. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (2)

(3) یٰۤاَیُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱذْكُرُوْا نِعْمَتَ ٱللّٰهِ عَلَیْكُمْ هَلْ مِنْ خَالِقٍ غَیْرُ ٱللّٰهِ یَرْزُقُكُمْ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَ ٱلْاَرْضِ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ فَاَنّٰى تُؤْفَكُوْنَ

O mankind, remember the favor of Allah upon you. Is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the heaven and earth? There is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded? (3)

(4) وَ اِنْ یُّكَذِّبُوْكَ فَقَدْ كُذِّبَتْ رُسُلٌ مِّنْ قَبْلِكَ وَ اِلَى ٱللّٰهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلْاُمُوْرُ

And if they deny you, [O Muhammad] - already were messengers denied before you. And to Allah will be returned [all] matters. (4)

(5) یٰۤاَیُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ اِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللّٰهِ حَقٌّ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ ٱلْحَیٰوةُ ٱلدُّنْیَا وَ لَا یَغُرَّنَّكُمْ بِٱللّٰهِ ٱلْغَرُوْرُ

O mankind, indeed the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and let not the deceiver delude you concerning Allah. (5)

(6) اِنَّ ٱلشَّیْطٰنَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَٱتَّخِذُوْهُ عَدُوًّا اِنَّمَا یَدْعُوْا حِزْبَهٗ لِیَكُوْنُوْا مِنْ اَصْحٰبِ ٱلسَّعِیْرِ

Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you, so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze. (6)

(7) ٱلَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِیْدٌ وَ ٱلَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَ عَمِلُوا ٱلصّٰلِحٰتِ لَهُمْ مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَّ اَجْرٌ كَبِیْرٌ

Those who disbelieve will have a severe punishment, and those who believe and do righteous deeds will have forgiveness and a great reward. (7)

(8) اَفَمَنْ زُیِّنَ لَهٗ سُوْٓءُ عَمَلِهٖ فَرَاٰهُ حَسَنًا فَاِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ یُضِلُّ مَنْ یَّشَآءُ وَ یَهْدِیْ مَنْ یَّشَآءُ فَلَا تَذْهَبْ نَفْسُكَ عَلَیْهِمْ حَسَرٰتٍ اِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ عَلِیْمٌۢ بِمَا یَصْنَعُوْنَ

Then is one to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive so he considers it good [like one rightly guided]? For indeed, Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So do not let yourself perish over them in regret. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do. (8)

(9) وَ ٱللّٰهُ ٱلَّذِیْۤ اَرْسَلَ ٱلرِّیٰحَ فَتُثِیْرُ سَحَابًا فَسُقْنٰهُ اِلٰى بَلَدٍ مَّیِّتٍ فَاَحْیَیْنَا بِهِ ٱلْاَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا كَذٰلِكَ ٱلنُّشُوْرُ

And it is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds, and We drive them to a dead land and give life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Thus is the resurrection. (9)

(10) مَنْ كَانَ یُرِیْدُ ٱلْعِزَّةَ فَلِلّٰهِ ٱلْعِزَّةُ جَمِیْعًا اِلَیْهِ یَصْعَدُ ٱلْكَلِمُ ٱلطَّیِّبُ وَ ٱلْعَمَلُ ٱلصّٰلِحُ یَرْفَعُهٗ وَ ٱلَّذِیْنَ یَمْكُرُوْنَ ٱلسَّیِّاٰتِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِیْدٌ وَّ مَكْرُ اُولٰٓىٕكَ هُوَ یَبُوْرُ

Whoever desires honor [should know that] to Allah belongs all honor. To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it. But those who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those is bound to fail. (10)

(11) وَ ٱللّٰهُ خَلَقَكُمْ مِّنْ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَكُمْ اَزْوَاجًا وَ مَا تَحْمِلُ مِنْ اُنْثٰى وَ لَا تَضَعُ اِلَّا بِعِلْمِهٖ وَ مَا یُعَمَّرُ مِنْ مُّعَمَّرٍ وَّ لَا یُنْقَصُ مِنْ عُمُرِهٖۤ اِلَّا فِیْ كِتٰبٍ اِنَّ ذٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللّٰهِ یَسِیْرٌ

And Allah created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then made you mates. And no female conceives nor does she give birth except with His knowledge. And no aged person is granted [additional] life nor is his lifespan lessened but that it is in a register. Indeed, that for Allah is easy. (11)

(12) وَ مَا یَسْتَوِی ٱلْبَحْرٰنِ هٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ سَآىٕـغٌ شَرَابُهٗ وَ هٰذَا مِلْحٌ اُجَاجٌ وَ مِنْ كُلٍّ تَاْكُلُوْنَ لَحْمًا طَرِیًّا وَّ تَسْتَخْرِجُوْنَ حِلْیَةً تَلْبَسُوْنَهَا وَ تَرَى ٱلْفُلْكَ فِیْهِ مَوَاخِرَ لِتَبْتَغُوْا مِنْ فَضْلِهٖ وَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُوْنَ

And not alike are the two bodies of water: one is fresh and sweet, palatable for drinking, and one is salty and bitter. And from each you eat fresh meat and extract ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships plowing through it that you might seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful. (12)

(13) یُوْلِجُ ٱلَّیْلَ فِی ٱلنَّهَارِ وَ یُوْلِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِی ٱلَّیْلِ وَ سَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَ ٱلْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ یَّجْرِیْ لِاَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ذٰلِكُمُ ٱللّٰهُ رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَ ٱلَّذِیْنَ تَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖ مَا یَمْلِكُوْنَ مِنْ قِطْمِیْرٍ

He causes the night to enter the day, and He causes the day to enter the night, and He has subjected the sun and the moon - each running [its course] for a specified term. That is Allah, your Lord; to Him belongs sovereignty. And those whom you invoke other than Him do not possess [so much as] the membrane of a date seed. (13)

(14) اِنْ تَدْعُوْهُمْ لَا یَسْمَعُوْا دُعَآءَكُمْ وَ لَوْ سَمِعُوْا مَا ٱسْتَجَابُوْا لَكُمْ وَ یَوْمَ ٱلْقِیٰمَةِ یَكْفُرُوْنَ بِشِرْكِكُمْ وَ لَا یُنَبِّئُكَ مِثْلُ خَبِیْرٍ

If you invoke them, they do not hear your supplication; and if they were to hear, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association [of them with Allah]. And none can inform you like [one who is] All-Aware [i.e., Allah]. (14)

(15) یٰۤاَیُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ اَنْتُمُ ٱلْفُقَرَآءُ اِلَى ٱللّٰهِ وَ ٱللّٰهُ هُوَ ٱلْغَنِیُّ ٱلْحَمِیْدُ

O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. (15)

(16) اِنْ یَّشَاْ یُذْهِبْكُمْ وَ یَاْتِ بِخَلْقٍ جَدِیْدٍ

If He wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new creation. (16)

(17) وَ مَا ذٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللّٰهِ بِعَزِیْزٍ

And that for Allah is not difficult. (17)

(18) وَ لَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِّزْرَ اُخْرٰى وَ اِنْ تَدْعُ مُثْقَلَةٌ اِلٰى حِمْلِهَا لَا یُحْمَلْ مِنْهُ شَیْءٌ وَّ لَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبٰى اِنَّمَا تُنْذِرُ ٱلَّذِیْنَ یَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ بِٱلْغَیْبِ وَ اَقَامُوا ٱلصَّلٰوةَ وَ مَنْ تَزَكّٰى فَاِنَّمَا یَتَزَكّٰى لِنَفْسِهٖ وَ اِلَى ٱللّٰهِ ٱلْمَصِیْرُ

And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily burdened soul calls [another] to [bear some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to Allah is the [final] destination. (18)

(19) وَ مَا یَسْتَوِی ٱلْاَعْمٰى وَ ٱلْبَصِیْرُ

And not equal are the blind and the seeing. (19)

(20) وَ لَا ٱلظُّلُمٰتُ وَ لَا ٱلنُّوْرُ

Nor are the darknesses and the light. (20)

(21) وَ لَا ٱلظِّلُّ وَ لَا ٱلْحَرُوْرُ

Nor are the shade and the heat. (21)

(22) وَ مَا یَسْتَوِی ٱلْاَحْیَآءُ وَ لَا ٱلْاَمْوَاتُ اِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ یُسْمِـعُ مَنْ یَّشَآءُ وَ مَاۤ اَنْتَ بِمُسْمِـعٍ مَّنْ فِی ٱلْقُبُوْرِ

And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves. (22)

(23) اِنْ اَنْتَ اِلَّا نَذِیْرٌ

You are not but a warner. (23)

(24) اِنَّآ اَرْسَلْنٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ بَشِیْرًا وَّ نَذِیْرًا وَّ اِنْ مِّنْ اُمَّةٍ اِلَّا خَلَا فِیْهَا نَذِیْرٌ

Indeed, We have sent you with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner. (24)

(25) وَ اِنْ یُّكَذِّبُوْكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِیْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِٱلْبَیِّنٰتِ وَ بِٱلزُّبُرِ وَ بِٱلْكِتٰبِ ٱلْمُنِیْرِ

And if they deny you, then already have those before them denied. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs and scriptures and the enlightening Book. (25)

(26) ثُمَّ اَخَذْتُ ٱلَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا فَكَیْفَ كَانَ نَكِیْرِ

Then I seized those who disbelieved, and how [terrible] was My reproach. (26)

(27) اَلَمْ تَرَ اَنَّ ٱللّٰهَ اَنْزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَاَخْرَجْنَا بِهٖ ثَمَرٰتٍ مُّخْتَلِفًا اَلْوَانُهَا وَ مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ جُدَدٌۢ بِیْضٌ وَّ حُمْرٌ مُّخْتَلِفٌ اَلْوَانُهَا وَ غَرَابِیْبُ سُوْدٌ

Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby fruits of varying colors? And among the mountains are streaks of white and red of varying shades and [some that are] intensely black. (27)

(28) وَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَ ٱلدَّوَآبِّ وَ ٱلْاَنْعَامِ مُخْتَلِفٌ اَلْوَانُهٗ كَذٰلِكَ اِنَّمَا یَخْشَى ٱللّٰهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ ٱلْعُلَمٰٓؤُا اِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ عَزِیْزٌ غَفُوْرٌ

And among the people and the moving creatures and the grazing livestock are various colors similarly. Only those fear Allah, from among His servants, who have knowledge. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might, Forgiving. (28)

(29) اِنَّ ٱلَّذِیْنَ یَتْلُوْنَ كِتٰبَ ٱللّٰهِ وَ اَقَامُوا ٱلصَّلٰوةَ وَ اَنْفَقُوْا مِمَّا رَزَقْنٰهُمْ سِرًّا وَّ عَلَانِیَةً یَّرْجُوْنَ تِجَارَةً لَّنْ تَبُوْرَ

Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a transaction [i.e., reward] that will never fail - (29)

(30) لِیُوَفِّیَهُمْ اُجُوْرَهُمْ وَ یَزِیْدَهُمْ مِّنْ فَضْلِهٖ اِنَّهٗ غَفُوْرٌ شَكُوْرٌ

That He may give them in full their rewards and increase for them of His bounty. Indeed, He is Forgiving and Appreciative. (30)

(31) وَ ٱلَّذِیْۤ اَوْحَیْنَآ اِلَیْكَ مِنَ ٱلْكِتٰبِ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَیْنَ یَدَیْهِ اِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ بِعِبَادِهٖ لَخَبِیْرٌۢ بَصِیْرٌ

And that which We have revealed to you of the Book is the truth, confirming what was before it. Indeed, Allah, concerning His servants, is Knowing and Seeing. (31)

(32) ثُمَّ اَوْرَثْنَا ٱلْكِتٰبَ ٱلَّذِیْنَ ٱصْطَفَیْنَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا فَمِنْهُمْ ظَالِمٌ لِّنَفْسِهٖ وَ مِنْهُمْ مُّقْتَصِدٌ وَّ مِنْهُمْ سَابِقٌۢ بِٱلْخَیْرٰتِ بِاِذْنِ ٱللّٰهِ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَضْلُ ٱلْكَبِیْرُ

Then We caused to inherit the Book those We have chosen of Our servants; and among them is he who wrongs himself, and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of Allah. That [inheritance] is what is the great bounty. (32)

(33) جَنّٰتُ عَدْنٍ یَّدْخُلُوْنَهَا یُحَلَّوْنَ فِیْهَا مِنْ اَسَاوِرَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَّ لُؤْلُؤًا وَّ لِبَاسُهُمْ فِیْهَا حَرِیْرٌ

[For them are] gardens of perpetual residence; they will enter them. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearl, and their garments therein will be silk. (33)

(34) وَ قَالُوا ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ ٱلَّذِیْۤ اَذْهَبَ عَنَّا ٱلْحَزَنَ اِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُوْرٌ شَكُوْرُ

And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative - (34)

(35) ٱلَّذِیْۤ اَحَلَّنَا دَارَ ٱلْمُقَامَةِ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖ لَا یَمَسُّنَا فِیْهَا نَصَبٌ وَّ لَا یَمَسُّنَا فِیْهَا لُغُوْبٌ

He who has settled us in the home of duration out of His bounty. There touches us not therein any fatigue, and there touches us not therein any weariness [of mind]." (35)

(36) وَ ٱلَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا لَهُمْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا یُقْضٰى عَلَیْهِمْ فَیَمُوْتُوْا وَ لَا یُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمْ مِّنْ عَذَابِهَا كَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِیْ كُلَّ كَفُوْرٍ

But those who disbelieve will have the fire of Hell. [Death] is not decreed for them so they may die, nor is its punishment lightened for them. Thus do We recompense every ungrateful one. (36)

(37) وَ هُمْ یَصْطَرِخُوْنَ فِیْهَا رَبَّنَآ اَخْرِجْنَا نَعْمَلْ صٰلِحًا غَیْرَ ٱلَّذِیْ كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ اَوَ لَمْ نُعَمِّرْكُمْ مَّا یَتَذَكَّرُ فِیْهِ مَنْ تَذَكَّرَ وَ جَآءَكُمُ ٱلنَّذِیْرُ فَذُوْقُوْا فَمَا لِلظّٰلِمِیْنَ مِنْ نَّصِیْرٍ

And they will cry out therein, "Our Lord, remove us; we will do righteousness other than what we used to do!" But did We not grant you life enough for whoever would remember therein to remember, and the warner had come to you? So taste [the punishment], for there will be for the wrongdoers no helper. (37)

(38) اِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ عٰلِمُ غَیْبِ ٱلسَّمٰوٰتِ وَ ٱلْاَرْضِ اِنَّهٗ عَلِیْمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُوْرِ

Indeed, Allah is the Knower of the unseen of the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts. (38)

(39) هُوَ ٱلَّذِیْ جَعَلَكُمْ خَلٰٓىٕفَ فِی ٱلْاَرْضِ فَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَعَلَیْهِ كُفْرُهٗ وَ لَا یَزِیْدُ ٱلْكٰفِرِیْنَ كُفْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ اِلَّا مَقْتًا وَّ لَا یَزِیْدُ ٱلْكٰفِرِیْنَ كُفْرُهُمْ اِلَّا خَسَارًا

It is He who has made you successors upon the earth. So whoever disbelieves - upon him is [the consequence of] his disbelief. And the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them in the sight of their Lord except in wrath; and the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them except in loss. (39)

(40) قُلْ اَرَءَیْتُمْ شُرَكَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِیْنَ تَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ ٱللّٰهِ اَرُوْنِیْ مَا ذَا خَلَقُوْا مِنَ ٱلْاَرْضِ اَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِی ٱلسَّمٰوٰتِ اَمْ اٰتَیْنٰهُمْ كِتٰبًا فَهُمْ عَلٰى بَیِّنَتٍ مِّنْهُ بَلْ اِنْ یَّعِدُ ٱلظّٰلِمُوْنَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا اِلَّا غُرُوْرًا

Say, "Have you considered your partners whom you invoke besides Allah? Show me what they have created from the earth, or have they a share in [the creation of] the heavens? Or have We given them a book, so they are upon clear evidence therefrom?" [No], rather, the wrongdoers do not promise each other except delusion. (40)

(41) اِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ یُمْسِكُ ٱلسَّمٰوٰتِ وَ ٱلْاَرْضَ اَنْ تَزُوْلَا وَ لَىٕنْ زَالَتَآ اِنْ اَمْسَكَهُمَا مِنْ اَحَدٍ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِهٖ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ حَلِیْمًا غَفُوْرًا

Indeed, Allah holds the heavens and the earth, lest they cease [to exist]. And if they should cease, no one could hold them [in place] after Him. Indeed, He is Forbearing and Forgiving. (41)

(42) وَ اَقْسَمُوْا بِٱللّٰهِ جَهْدَ اَیْمَانِهِمْ لَىٕنْ جَآءَهُمْ نَذِیْرٌ لَّیَكُوْنُنَّ اَهْدٰى مِنْ اِحْدَى ٱلْاُمَمِ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ نَذِیْرٌ مَّا زَادَهُمْ اِلَّا نُفُوْرًا

And they swore by Allah their strongest oaths that if a warner came to them, they would be more guided than [any] one of the [previous] nations. But when a warner came to them, it did not increase them except in aversion - (42)

(43) ٱسْتِكْبَارًا فِی ٱلْاَرْضِ وَ مَكْرَ ٱلسَّیِّئِ وَ لَا یَحِیْقُ ٱلْمَكْرُ ٱلسَّیِّئُ اِلَّا بِاَهْلِهٖ فَهَلْ یَنْظُرُوْنَ اِلَّا سُنَّةَ ٱلْاَوَّلِیْنَ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّةِ ٱللّٰهِ تَبْدِیْلًا وَّ لَنْ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّةِ ٱللّٰهِ تَحْوِیْلًا

[Due to] arrogance in the land and plotting of evil; but the evil plot does not encompass except its own people. Then do they await except the way [i.e., fate] of the former peoples? But you will never find in the way of Allah any change, and you will never find in the way of Allah any alteration. (43)

(44) اَوَ لَمْ یَسِیْرُوْا فِی ٱلْاَرْضِ فَیَنْظُرُوْا كَیْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِیْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَ كَانُوْۤا اَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَّ مَا كَانَ ٱللّٰهُ لِیُعْجِزَهٗ مِنْ شَیْءٍ فِی ٱلسَّمٰوٰتِ وَ لَا فِی ٱلْاَرْضِ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ عَلِیْمًا قَدِیْرًا

Have they not traveled through the land and seen how was the end of those before them? And they were greater than them in strength. But Allah was not to be outdone by anything in the heavens or in the earth. Indeed, He is ever Knowing and Competent. (44)

(45) وَ لَوْ یُؤَاخِذُ ٱللّٰهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوْا مَا تَرَكَ عَلٰى ظَهْرِهَا مِنْ دَآبَّةٍ وَّ لٰـكِنْ یُّؤَخِّرُهُمْ اِلٰۤى اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَاِذَا جَآءَ اَجَلُهُمْ فَاِنَّ ٱللّٰهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهٖ بَصِیْرًا

And if Allah were to seize mankind for what they have earned, He would not leave upon its surface any creature. But He defers them to a specified term. And when their term comes, then indeed Allah has ever been, of His servants, Seeing. (45)
