Surah al Mulk will protect its readers from torments of Grave:
It is narrated by Abdullah Ibn Masood, Holy Prophet said,
Whoever reads Tabaarak allaahi bi yadihi’l-Mulk [i.e., Surah al-Mulk] every night, Allah will protect him from the torment of the grave.
Reciting Surah Mulk preserves its readers from the ordeals and tribulations of the grave (Qabar). At another site, Prophet Muhammad stated,
“When a person is buried in his grave, he will be approached from his feet by an angel and the feet will say no harm to you.
for what is in my heart, this person always stood on me and read this surah, then the person will be approached from his chest by the angel,
and the chest will say that you have no right to do harm for what is in my heart, he has been used to recite Surah al-Mulk.”
Surah al Mulk will intercede on the day of Standing:
Surah Mulk is believed to be the intercessor for its readers on the Day of Judgement. It will keep on interceding and favoring a person unless he is pardoned and has been entered into Jannah. Narrated by Abu Hurairah,
“Indeed there is a Surah in the Quran of 30 Ayah, which intercedes for a man until he is forgiven. It is Tabarak Allahdi Biyadihil-Mulk.”

The best time to read Surah al Mulk is at night. However, the recitation of should not be confined to the only night.
