Surah Al-Fil With English Translations

اَلَمْ تَرَ كَیْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِاَصْحٰبِ الْفِیْلِﭤ(1)

Have you not seen, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant? (1)

اَلَمْ یَجْعَلْ كَیْدَهُمْ فِیْ تَضْلِیْلٍ(2)

Did He not make their plot go astray? (2)

وَّ اَرْسَلَ عَلَیْهِمْ طَیْرًا اَبَابِیْلَ(3)

And He sent against them birds in flocks, (3)

تَرْمِیْهِمْ بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّنْ سِجِّیْلٍ(4)

Striking them with stones of hard clay, (4)

فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّاْكُوْلٍ(5)

And made them like stalks of grain eaten away. (5)
