Say, [O Muhammad], "It has been revealed to me that a group of the jinn listened and said, 'Indeed, we have heard a marvelous Qur'an. (1)

It guides to the right course, and we have believed in it. And we will never associate with our Lord anyone. (2)

And [we believe] that He - exalted be the majesty of our Lord - has taken neither a wife nor a child (3)

And that our foolish [among us] used to say about Allah an enormity. (4)

But we thought that mankind and the jinn would never speak about Allah a lie. (5)

And that [in the past] there were men among mankind who sought refuge in men among the jinn, so they [the jinn] increased them in burden. (6)

And they had thought, as you thought, that Allah would never send anyone [as a messenger]. (7)

And we touched the sky, but found it filled with powerful guards and burning flames. (8)

And we used to sit there in places for listening, but whoever listens now will find a burning flame lying in wait for him. (9)

And we do not know [whether] evil is intended for those on earth or whether their Lord intends for them a right course. (10)

And among us are the righteous, and among us are [others] not so righteous. We have been of different ways. (11)

And we knew that we could never cause failure to Allah upon the earth, nor could we escape Him by flight. (12)

And [we believe] that when we heard the guidance, we believed in it. So whoever believes in his Lord will not fear deprivation or burden. (13)

And among us are Muslims [in submission to Allah], and among us are the deviators. And whoever has become Muslim - those have sought out the right course. (14)

But as for the deviators - they will be fuel for Hell." (15)

That We might test them therein. And whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord - He will put him into severe punishment. (17)

And [the jinn said], "And [know] that the masjids are for Allah, so do not invoke anyone along with Allah. (18)

And that when the servant of Allah [Muhammad] stood up invoking Him, they almost became about him a dense mass." (19)

Say, "I only invoke my Lord, and I do not associate with Him anyone." (20)

Say, "Indeed, I do not possess for you [the power of] harm or any right course." (21)

Say, "Indeed, no one can protect me from Allah, nor will I find besides Him any refuge. (22)

[My duty is] only conveyance from Allah and His messages, and whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger - then indeed, for him is the fire of Hell; they will abide therein forever." (23)

[They will not believe] until they see what they are promised, and then they will know who is weaker in helpers and fewer in number. (24)

Say, "I do not know if what you are promised is near or if my Lord will grant for it a [long] period. (25)

[He is] the Knower of the unseen, and He does not disclose His unseen to anyone (26)

Except to a messenger whom He has chosen, and indeed, He makes to proceed before him and behind him sentinels (27)

That He may know that they have conveyed the messages of their Lord, and He has encompassed whatever is with them and has enumerated all things in number. (28)
